CONSIGNMENT SERVICES
Have a luxury piece you’re ready to part with? Cristin’s Collection offers consignment services designed to make selling your item simple from start to finish.
HOW IT WORKS
-
Send Detailed Photos
Submit clear photos of the item, including its overall condition, interior, exterior, corners, hardware, date codes or serial information when applicable, and any included accessories or documentation. -
Market Research
I’ll research the item and review current comparable listings and recent market pricing. -
Preliminary Pricing
I’ll provide a proposed sales price range and estimated payout based on the item, condition, and current resale market. -
Ship Your Item
If you approve the proposed pricing structure, you’ll ship the item to Cristin’s Collection for physical review. -
Final Review & Pricing Confirmation
Once received, I’ll personally inspect the item and confirm its condition and final pricing structure before it is listed for sale. -
90-Day Consignment Period
Your item will be listed for up to 90 days. If it has not sold at the end of the 90-day period, you may choose to extend the consignment period or have the item returned to you.
CONSIGNMENT FEE & PAYOUT
Cristin’s Collection charges a 15% consignment fee based on the final sale price of the item.
Your payout is calculated as:
Sale Price − 15% Consignment Fee − Shipping Costs − Applicable Fees = Consignor Payout
Any applicable transaction, payment-processing, or other fees associated with the sale will be deducted from the consignor payout. The agreed-upon pricing structure will account for anticipated fees when establishing the listing price and estimated payout.
Final pricing and estimated payout will be communicated and agreed upon before the item is listed so the consignor has a clear understanding of the anticipated proceeds.
Payout will be issued after the buyer has received and accepted the item and the transaction has been successfully completed.
CONSIGNMENT TERMS
Authentication
All designer items must be authentic. Items may be professionally authenticated before being offered for sale. If an item cannot be authenticated or is determined not to be authentic, it will not be listed for sale and will be returned to the consignor. The consignor is responsible for any authentication and return-shipping costs incurred.
Condition & Disclosure
The consignor is responsible for accurately disclosing the item's known condition, alterations, repairs, damage, or other material information. Final condition will be determined after Cristin’s Collection physically receives and inspects the item.
Pricing & Offers
The consignor and Cristin’s Collection will agree upon a sales pricing structure before the item is listed. This may include an agreed-upon price range or minimum acceptable sale price. Cristin’s Collection may accept reasonable offers or adjust the listed price within the agreed-upon range without obtaining additional approval from the consignor.
Consignment Fee & Other Fees
Cristin’s Collection retains 15% of the final sale price as its consignment fee. Shipping costs and any applicable transaction, payment-processing, platform, or other fees associated with completing the sale will be deducted separately from the consignor payout.
Pricing will be structured to account for anticipated fees, and the consignor will receive the proposed pricing range and estimated payout before approving the consignment.
Consignment Period
The standard consignment period is 90 days beginning on the date the item is listed for sale. If the item remains unsold at the end of the term, the consignor may choose to extend the consignment period or request the return of the item.
Early Withdrawal
Once an item has been accepted and listed for consignment, it is expected to remain available for the full 90-day term. If the consignor requests the item back before the end of the consignment period, the consignor will be responsible for return shipping and any costs already incurred in connection with authentication, preparation, or marketing of the item.
Shipping to Cristin’s Collection
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the consignor is responsible for securely packaging and shipping the item to Cristin’s Collection, including appropriate tracking and insurance. Cristin’s Collection is not responsible for items lost or damaged before confirmed delivery.
Return of Unsold Items
If an item is not sold and the consignor elects not to extend the consignment period, return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the consignor.
Completed Sales & Payouts
Consignor payouts are issued after the buyer has received and accepted the item and the transaction is considered complete. The final payout will reflect the actual sale price less the 15% consignment fee, shipping costs, and any applicable fees associated with the transaction.
Buyer Returns or Transaction Issues
If a transaction is canceled, reversed, disputed, or the item is returned by the buyer before the sale is considered complete, no consignor payout will be due until the matter has been resolved and Cristin’s Collection has received final payment for the item.
Agreement to Terms
By sending an item to Cristin’s Collection for consignment after approving the proposed pricing and consignment structure, the consignor acknowledges and agrees to these consignment terms.
BUYOUT SERVICES
Prefer to skip the consignment process? Cristin’s Collection also offers direct buyouts on select items.
Buyout offers are typically approximately 50% of the item’s current market value and are based on factors including designer, style, condition, age, current demand, comparable resale pricing, and included accessories or documentation.

BUYOUT TERMS
Buyout offers are generally calculated at approximately 50% of current market value and may vary depending on the specific item, condition, desirability, resale demand, and anticipated resale value.
Initial offers are based on the photos and information provided and are subject to final physical inspection and authentication. If the item's condition or other material details differ from what was originally disclosed, Cristin’s Collection may revise or withdraw the offer. If a revised offer is not accepted, the item will be returned to the seller.
A prepaid shipping label will be provided for accepted buyout offers. Ownership of the item transfers to Cristin’s Collection only after final inspection, acceptance, and payment of the agreed-upon buyout amount.
